So going into my technical skills audit I was unsure how I would fair, I feel as though I know most things or have the ability to find and work out how to do anything i'm unsure about. The only area I truly feel weak in is programming and this is something i'm trying hard to rectify. Unreal Engines Blueprints has given the ability to do a lot more rather than the scripting had been working with in Unity. I also find that Unreal UI is much nicer to use and easier to navigate. Anyway I was surprised by my answers as nothing really stood out as a major weak point just holes in my knowledge and understanding which I aim to fill through time.
Technical Skills Audit
1. I can take mouse, keyboard, touch screen or gamepad inputs and use them to control objects in a game engine of my choice.
CONFIDENT,
The only inputs i have yet to try is the Touch Screen.
2. I can set up physics components (such as colliders and rigid bodies) in my game engine and trigger an event to happen when two game objects collide.
CONFIDENT
3. I can use code to spawn new objects while the game is running (eg create bullets).
I have done this a couple of times and understand how i can do this but only after being prompted therefore I wouldn't say confident but able.
4. I can set up an animation in my chosen game engine and control it with code and / or with a state machine.
CONFIDENT
5. I can use level design tools to block-out a level in my chosen game engine.
CONFIDENT
6. I can use my game engine’s pathfinding system (if it has one) to create enemies and NPCs that chase or follow the player.
NOT YET but i have some understanding of how to do this.

7. I can code basic game logic (eg comparing two numbers) to create win and lose conditions.
i can create conditions that decide if a character i dead or alive. If that's similar. Haha that is some coding language right there. Ask me about creating textures or game assets.
8. I can configure particle systems to create different visual effects (eg fire, snow).
CONFIDENT, able when prompted. I have done these in both Unity and Unreal
9. I can use appropriate software to create appealing character sprites or models.
CONFIDENT yes i can Finally !!!
10. I can use appropriate software to create atmospheric environment sprites or models.
CONFIDENT sure can.
11. I can create character animations, such as walking and jumping, and bring them into my game engine.
CONFIDENT One half of that i am confident in where as the animation i have some understanding and have used multiple software to try it in.
12. I can use appropriate software to design clear user-interfaces.
CONFIDENT yep
13. I can find / record / edit, sound effects and music.
CONFIDENT yes if its not too complex.
